Asa and Bibi
Asa and Bibi: two people in an eternal dance attempting to understand each other, the external world, the future.
Asa and Bibi was first performed as part of Seven for a Secret at the Mill Theatre in 2015. The context was, and as yet remains, Ireland's Eighth Amendment and the messy legislation surrounding it, and a world in which women are not yet afforded the same opportunities and rights as are afforded men. That production of Asa and Bibi was an attempt to convey uncertainty, distress, and to examine the way in which these two people find resilience.
The first performance was by Sarah Fullam and Sarah Joyce.

A Piece of Him!
A Piece of Him! was an adaptation of Hamlet for the Dublin Shakespeare Festival. While there were ten Hamlets, it's true that not one single, solitary word of the script was my own. Nevertheless, the adaptation felt like more than just direction to me. It gave me a feel for shaping a text, and while it took a number of years to sit myself down at the writing desk, the bug is now gnawing merrily away.
